Super Easy Chocolate Mousse
In a mixing bowl put:
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp instant coffee, or vanilla, or orange zest, or liqueur
Beat on high until stiff and forms peaks. Refrigerate until serving. Dress this up with a couple of shavings of chocolate or a drizzle or two of chocolate sauce.
Mousse is a French word meaning foam. Mousse began showing up in the 1700s and dessert mousse recipes appeared in the mid 1800s. The early ones were fruit based.
